Quite a few of us showed up to carry "Save Dark Shadows" signs in front of our local NBC studios Even though we unfortunately didn't save the new series, we did get to meet other DS fans from all over the state of Florida. As a result we have formed many new friendships and enjoy sharing our favorite show with others who love it as much as we do!
Our club is constantly growing, we attract new members every year. We Boast No club "dues" and are open to all DS fans. We have folks attending from all over Florida and have had visitors from other states come to our meeting, outing and parties when they are in the area. New members are always welcome! We usually meet about every other month from January thru September, and have a club party in the fall, complete with costumes, sets, and DS Trivia games. Our club is about fun, friendships and Dark Shadows but we
also have made charitable contributions to the American Cancer Society, and to
the restoration fund for the Lyndhurst Estate in Tarrytown NY (our brick in the
greenhouse), the setting for both of the Dark Shadows movies. Most recently we
made a donation to Dr. Jeffrey Cummings' Alzheimer's Research c/o
UCLA Alzheimer's Disease Center, 710 Westwood
Plaza, Suite 20238, Los Angeles, CA 90095 in memory of Dan Curtis and in memory
of Craig Hamrick a donation to NYC Animal Care & Control. Visit our Sponsor
